Itinerary:
This is your private tour so hotel pick up is up to you
but suggested time is 7-8 am. Suggested itinerary is to
first go to Xel Ha just for the free breakfast and to
pick up your snorkel gear and lockers (this saves time
later). Once breakfast is over back to the transport and
head to Tulum. If breakfast is not required then the suggestion
is to head directly to Tulum. Remember this is your tour
so tell the driver which way round you want to do things.
Once in Tulum you can optionally hire a guide for around
$40 usd for a 90 minute tour or just wander around on
your own. If you spend 2 hrs there it is plenty of time.
Then
to Xel-Ha where you can swim/snorkel, float down the lazy
river, walk through the jungle, eat, drink or relax in
a hammock. Once inside Xel-Ha all your food & beverages
are free. As much as you want! Tips are NOT included.
Summer
hours the park closes at 6 pm (5 pm in winter) and the
drive back takes about 95 minutes.
