Itinerary:
This is your private tour so hotel pick up is up to you
but suggested time is 7-8 am. Suggested itinerary is to
first go to Tulum. Remember this is your tour
so tell the driver which way round you want to do things.
Once in Tulum you can optionally hire a guide for around
$40 usd for a 90 minute tour or just wander around on
your own. If you spend 2 hrs there it is plenty of time. Then move on to the ruins at Coba which are about 50 miles inland from Tulum.
Optional Extras (available on booking):
Stop at a small Mayan Village and visit a traditional Mayan family dwelling to learn about how the Mayans live today. Try a classic Yucatan chicken taco homemade and watch as the friendly Mayans show you how they make tortillas. Additional cost: $5 per person.
Trip to two cenotes. Both are inside caves but are very different. Bring your bathing suits and towels! Platforms are provided to jump in the cold fresh water. Trust me, you'll need it! Additional cost: $10 per person.
